The Sixth MOBICCON-PRO General Assembly Meeting took place in Paris on 13–14 November 2025, hosted by Cergy Paris University (CY) at their premises. This meeting was particularly significant, as it marked three full years of the project implementation, bringing the consortium into its final implementation phase.
Over two productive days, representatives from all partner organisations reviewed the achievements across all Work Packages, analysed current challenges, and outlined the strategic roadmap for the next period – all with the shared objective of accelerating the transition toward circular construction practices across Europe.
During the meeting some of the latest developments and major outcomes were discussed:
- Territorial Circular Center (TCC) – updates were provided on recent activities, trainings, stakeholder engagement events and outreach actions. Strategic directions were outlined to scale the TCC’s impact across Southeastern Europe, with a focus on capacity-building, partnerships, and knowledge transfer.
- Mobile Pilot Plant (MPP) in Kremikovtsi – the facility is now operating at full capacity, producing high-quality secondary construction materials. The discussions addressed material testing and validation, performance results, and potential applications in real construction environments.
- Development of a smart digital PDA application – the consortium presented ongoing development of a digital tool that revolutionises pre-demolition audits through full digitalisation, 360° 3D building scans, AR-assisted on-site guidance, and automated data processing. This technology enables faster, safer, and more transparent assessments, supporting high-quality CDW recycling and circular practices.
- Innovative construction materials from recycled CDW – demonstrations and validation activities confirmed the feasibility of deploying MOBICCON-PRO solutions in real operational environments.
- Cross-work-package coordination – the alignment between all WPs was highlighted as a key strength of the project, demonstrating effective collaboration among partners and strong stakeholder involvement.
A major highlight of the meeting was the technical visit to the Louvres facility (Tersen – Cosson Facility) – a professional platform for construction waste collection and recycling. Partners observed French practices in selective demolition, waste separation, concrete crushing, soil analysis, and hydraulic binder-based road material preparation.
On the second day, the consortium visited the Neuville IUT construction site at Cergy University, receiving a detailed presentation and observing pilot applications of innovative construction techniques.
The General Assembly Meeting in Paris once again confirmed the strong collective dedication of all MOBICCON-PRO partners to promoting sustainable and resource-efficient construction practices. It showcased the continued progress of the project and its commitment to delivering scalable, real-world solutions that actively support Europe’s transition toward a circular construction economy.
