The circular solution – Mobile Pilot Plant for recycling of Construction and Demolition Waste (CDW) delivered under the MOBICCON-PRO project was recognized in the first edition of the Blue Book of Sustainability in Bulgaria, launched by the UN Global Compact Network in Bulgaria.
The Blue Book on Sustainability in Bulgaria is being published on the occasion of 15 years since the establishment of the Bulgarian Network and has the ambition to grow into a platform for the exchange of knowledge and practical solutions that show how sustainability is transformed from a value into a measurable competitive advantage and management model. It presented 15 leading companies operating in Bulgaria, amongst which the Project Coordnator of the MOBICCON-PRO project, Glavbolgarstroy (GBS), and their 20 practices on sustainability.
The practices which are evolving into business cases are separated into 5 areas following the business logic of companies and the areas in which they have an impact: management and risk; people and culture; operations and natural capital; innovation and growth; communities and impact.
The presentation of the Book took place on February 24, 2026 is Sofia and was highlighted with a panel discussion focused on changing business models, the emergence of new businesses, active risk management, and the long-term competitiveness of companies, beyond traditional ESG policies.
