TCC hosted a practical training for university students

A group of students from the University of Architecture, Civil Engineering and Geodesy (UASG) (Sofia, Bulgaria) had a training at the Territorial Circular Center (TCC) premises in Kremikovtsi, developed within the MOBICCON-PRO project. During the interaction, they were able to observe the complete lifecycle of construction materials firsthand, from selective demolition and waste processing through to recycling and quality control. This immersive experience offered a concrete look at how cutting-edge solutions are reshaping the construction industry from the ground up.

The practical training and the introduction to the operational processes of the MPP served as a platform for an illustration of circular economy principles in action, showing how resource efficiency and sustainable development are no longer theoretical concepts but everyday realities on the ground. For the next generation of engineers and built environment professionals, experiences like this are invaluable for bridging the gap between classroom knowledge and real-world practice, preparing the next generation of engineers and professionals to drive innovation and shape a more sustainable built environment.

The MOBICCON-PRO team is proud that the TCC is already serving as an engagement platform for various stakeholders in the construction sector and bringing forward the circularity principles.
