MOBICCON-PRO was present at the Circular Build Forum 2026 (CBF26), held on 26–27 January 2026 in Denmark. CBF is one of the leading Nordic events on circular construction, bringing together practitioners, researchers, policymakers and industry representatives.
DTI’s Anke Oberender presented in a session on the role of new technologies in enabling reuse and circularity, showcasing the digital tools being developed within MOBICCON-PRO to support pre-demolition and resource mapping. The presentation covered the project’s vision for a digital workflow integrating field data collection, 3D visualisation and material documentation, including the testing of technologies such as Matterport 3D scanning, helmet- mounted 360-degree cameras, augmented reality and handheld Raman spectrometry for onsite identification of hazardous substances. All those activities are being elaborated within the WP2 and the Tasks 2.1 and 2.2 of the project.
The presentation also highlighted the importance of integration with other digital tools in the circular construction value chain, such as material passports and marketplace platforms, and the need for harmonised terminology across the sector.
