The CY Cergy Paris University (CY) is a French university in the Paris area. CY is an attractive centre of teaching and research which hosts international students (19,600 students).

With more than 500 PhD-hold researchers and 430 PhD students working in 22 research centers and 6 open labs, CY is among the most active research centers in France with a high international standard. CY is a member of the Paris Seine University. It has been awarded by the I-SITE (Initiative Science-Innovation-Territory-Economy) in the framework of the French government’s “Investments for the Future” program. It has been identified for its capacity to become an excellent university, recognized for the quality of its research focusing on fields of excellence, and for the quality of its education and its integration in the socio-economic fabric.

CY is a member of EUTOPIA, which was awarded an Erasmus+ grant to build a European University of the future and to create a new model for higher education in Europe.

CY has started the implementation of the Human Resources Strategy for Researchers (HRS4R) to further improve its recruitment practices and its working environment.

The researchers involved in MOBICCON-PRO Project are members of the Laboratory of Mechanics and Civil Engineering Materials (L2MGC) of CY Cergy Paris University. The laboratory is well known in France and international scale for conducting research activities in the field of the civil engineering related to the thermo-mechanical behaviour of concrete incorporating waste and co-products, the durability and the reinforced concrete behaviour. Relationships are often established between the porous microstructure, the chemical composition of the components, the mix design, the thermal properties and the mechanical properties for the optimisation of ecological and sustainable materials with low environmental impact.
